The trail moves along the top of a bluff over the Columbia River, then moves a little bit inland and crosses a couple of watercourses on wooden bridge. You will come to a trail junction. If you go right you will climb up to exit on Elk Road. If you go left, you will hike a short loop to a lookout opposite the airport and return to the junction. You can return the way you came or walk back along Elk Road.

Note: This trail was built by mountain bikers and serves as an important exit for their trail networks and you will likely see one or more cyclists.
